Additional Information

This is a long form text area designed for your content that you can fill up with as many words as your heart desires. You can write articles, long mission statements, company policies, executive profiles, company awards/distinctions, office locations, shareholder reports, whitepapers, media mentions and other pieces of content that don’t fit into a shorter, more succinct space.

Articles – Good topics for articles include anything related to your company – recent changes to operations, the latest company softball game – or the industry you’re in. General business trends (think national and even international) are great article fodder, too.

Mission statements – You can tell a lot about a company by its mission statement. Don’t have one? Now might be a good time to create one and post it here. A good mission statement tells you what drives a company to do what it does.

Company policies – Are there company policies that are particularly important to your business? Perhaps your unlimited paternity/maternity leave policy has endeared you to employees across the company. This is a good place to talk about that.

Executive profiles – A company is only as strong as its executive leadership. This is a good place to show off who’s occupying the corner offices. Write a nice bio about each executive that includes what they do, how long they’ve been at it, and what got them to where they are.

How long have you been a consultant?

I have been working in online education for the last 7 years, I decided to become an official consultant in July, 2017.

How did you start?

After an amazing talk with my mentor and former teacher, Dr. Brandi Maynard- I discovered that my passion and energy fits a very specific niche- engaging online high school students. She helped me to realize my passion and run with it!

Why did you decide to become a consultant?

Seeing students and teachers feel isolated in the online environment broke my heart. I wanted to figure out ways to build a sense of community and school spirit online in order to make a lasting impact and true school experience.

How would you describe your consulting practice?

My consulting practice is always strength based. There is no such thing as a one size fits all approach when we are working with such diverse populations, so I make sure to tailor research based methods to specific scenarios.

What do you do for clients?

I help educators generate an exciting and positive school culture using free and easy to access online tools in order to build strong virtual school communities. I also provide professional development for staff that can be delivered virtually or in person.

Why do you like to do consulting?

Knowing that a student graduated and persevered due to a positive school climate is what gets me out of bed in the morning!
